Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Meldio is a product of GoYou Brands LLC ("GoYou Brands," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Meldio, including the free Quick Studio tool and the Full Studio ("the Service").

2. Beta status

Meldio is currently offered as a beta product. Features, pricing, availability, and usage limits may change at any time without notice. The Service is provided "as is" during this period, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

3. Your content

You retain all ownership rights to the written content you submit to Meldio ("Your Content"). Meldio transforms Your Content into audio — it does not generate, author, or claim ownership of the underlying written work. By submitting Your Content, you represent that you have the right to use it and to have it processed as described in these Terms.

To provide the Service, Your Content is sent to third-party AI providers (currently ElevenLabs for voice generation, and Anthropic for automatic speaker detection when needed) for processing. We do not sell Your Content, and we do not use it to train our own models.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Meldio to generate audio from content that:

• infringes another party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights;
• is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent;
• impersonates a real person without consent in a misleading way; or
• violates the acceptable use policies of our underlying service providers (ElevenLabs, Anthropic).

5. Free tier usage limits

The free Quick Studio tool is subject to usage limits (including a daily generation limit and a maximum content length per generation) intended to keep the Service sustainable. These limits may change at any time.

6. Accounts (Full Studio)

Access to the Full Studio currently requires a beta account issued by us. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

7. Paid subscriptions

Meldio does not currently charge for access — the Service is offered as a free beta. When and if paid plans are introduced, they will be billed on a recurring basis (such as monthly) at the price and usage allowance disclosed at the time of purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access through that period's end.

8. Refunds

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for a partially used billing period or an unused usage allowance. If a technical failure on our part prevents you from using the Service you paid for, contact us — we will address it on a case-by-case basis.

9. Commercial use of generated output

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may use audio generated by Meldio for commercial purposes, including in productions, publications, or other commercial work, provided the underlying written content is yours or you otherwise have the right to use it as described in Section 3.

10. Failed generations

If a generation fails due to a technical error on our end, any usage counted against your allowance for that failed attempt will be restored. Usage is not restored for generations that complete successfully, even if you are unsatisfied with the result.

11. Usage expiration

For paid plans with a recurring usage allowance, unused usage does not carry over between billing periods unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.

12. Voice licensing and impersonation

The voices available in Meldio are licensed through our third-party voice provider (currently ElevenLabs) for use within the Service. You may not use Meldio to create a voice intended to impersonate a specific real, identifiable individual without that person's consent, or to create a voice clone of a real person except through features explicitly designed and authorized for that purpose.

13. No warranty; limitation of liability

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoYou Brands LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
